2011 New Starts

All is Fabulous in the Smorong household....Kaylynne is in her last few months of highschool....this puts a few tears in my eyes...seems like just the other day, she was running around in her tinkerbell tutu..singing little bitty....I am so proud of the young woman she has become..and can't wait to see whats around the bend for her! Noah is surviving the 7th grade...still not a fan of the whole classroom idea, but is a good student, and for the most part, gets by with a few warnings here and there. I also can not believe that he is now a teenager, cause again seems like just the other day, he was cruising around in his power wheels jeep collecting all kinds of good stuff! This will be a summer of change for me, as Kaylynne heads off to college and Noah goes to spend this coming year with his Dad....but my thoughts and my prayers will be daily for them, and I know that God has them both in the palm of his hand. IOwen and Wyatt are growing like crazy and have both mastered the bikes, and have figured out seems like every day to go just a bit faster, and might I say very competitive. Owen and Wyatt will be starting preschool this year, so looking forward to the adventure that awaits them! Mike is still loving his job here in Az. I am still in school, and often reading Nursing books, seems like in my sleep :) but I love that God has given me the opportunity to finish this life long goal of becoming a Nurse, and can't wait to see what he has in store for me! I am feeling very blessed that I have such amazing kiddo's and a very loving husband!

Wyatt is in the monkey costume...wears it around the house...running around...well like a monkey! Owen is in his Cool Shirt! They loved getting all the Halloween stuff out with momma....and had to show me everything! I can't wait to take them trick or treating this year...I'm sure it will be quite exciting...now that they have discovered candy :)

September 20th 2010

Well today was an eventful day, My daughter was accepted to ASU and NAU...so she has to decide which school she will go to. I suggested she wait and see who offers the largest scholarship (now that is a wise mom). On the other end of the spectrum my three year old twins... I ask as I do everyday for the last 4 months...Why is it so hard to pee in the toilet? I have decided that even though I have toilet trained successfully x 2...that these boys are going to break me...lol. I keep telling myself don't worry...this will be the day for the potty wars to end! Never a dull moment, and I love every minute of it! As I sit here typing Owen is swinging from the treadmill, I'm glad someone is using the thing...and Wyatt is dancing to the letter song....it is 8 pm so I must start the bed time routine...reading Click,Clack,Moo and saying prayer...tackling to brush the teeth and then after a couple kisses and drinks of water...then and only then..I will take a deep breath..and begin to study for school....a day in the life!
